The body mask will contain a mixture of ingredients designed to have a remedial effect on your skin, while the wrap will sooth and warm your body, promoting muscle relaxation, and sweating to cleanse your pores.

What does it do?

Generally a coating of mud, rich in minerals, is piled on your skin. After applying the mask to your body, your therapist will swaddle in a plastic sheet and leave you to rest for around 20 to 30 minutes.

The heat of the wrap will relax your muscles, open your pores and encourage sweating. The shower afterwards will be welcome. You can scrub away any remaining mud and then you will end the session with Aroma Steam Therapy.

What does it help?

Application of mud allows the minerals to be absorbed by the skin. As a result of a Body Mud Wrap, your skin will feel cleaner, softer, and more youthful. Contraindications for Detoxifying Full Body Mud wrap

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:

Wraps can be unsafe for both the mother and the developing fetus or infant.

Allergies:

Allergic reactions to ingredients in the mud or wrap are a significant risk.

Heart Conditions:

Individuals with heart problems, high or low blood pressure (not under control), or recent heart attacks should avoid mud wraps.

Cancer:

Those with active cancer or who have had cancer within the last two years should avoid mud wraps.

Skin Conditions:

Eczema, psoriasis, open wounds, and other skin conditions can be exacerbated by mud wraps.

Infections:

Any enclosed or generalized infections should be a reason to avoid mud wraps.

Other Medical Conditions:

Diabetes, epilepsy, lupus, and other medical conditions may require a doctor's release or be a contraindication.

Important Considerations:

Claustrophobia:

The feeling of being wrapped tightly can be uncomfortable or triggering for individuals with claustrophobia.

Medications:

Certain medications, especially those affecting circulation or skin sensitivity, may interact with the wrap.

Recent Surgery or Scar Tissue:

Recent surgeries or scar tissue (less than 6 weeks old) should be a reason to avoid mud wraps.
